Sandra Ramzy offers a raw, unfiltered glimpse into the unearthing of an artistic spirit caught between poetry and politics. Her writing spans the realms of introspective poetry, incisive prose, weaving together fiction and non-fiction, political analysis and personal reflection. As a researcher who enjoys unveiling the human inner-workings, both caring and corrupt, of our current systems, she attempts to bring honesty to the world of politics and "development." In her newsletter, "Subliminal Seashells," she explores the grey zones between the real and the imagined, the dreamt and the hallucinated and, the place of a writer as subject, object and observer.


Sandra is based in Amsterdam and is currently piecing together an anthology and an accumulated archive of short-stories. She is also curiously venturing into the world of investigative journalism.
